JOHNNY ROMANO April 23rd, 1998 - September 23rd, 2008

Unity is defined as the state or fact of being united or combined into one. For many of us Johnny Romano provided just that; a combination of efforts into a state of being one. It's the mark of a true Battle Commander. And for as much as it seems there to be a tear in that fabric of unity with Johnny's early passing on September 23rd, 2008, it is indeed quite the opposite for his love of skateboarding and livingness has built bonds between us that can never be broken even in the wake of his absence.

Thank you and farewell, Johnny. The world is a far better place for you having lived and your name and your skateboarding will reverberate within us forever.

We love you. We love your family. We love your friends and we all look forward to seeing you again. And yes, we shall recognize you quite easily by your ability to unify us in a time where everything seems to be falling apart. The mark of a true Battle Commander. So, if we could borrow a phrase from a good friend of ours strictly because of you, we say to you, Roll Forever, Johnny.
