In the company of legends.....

I went to supreme on fairfax last night to say whats up to the homies, i saw Sal cruise in so i went to say whats up. i walked in look up and see Javier Nunez, Sal Barbier, Steve Olson, Scott Oster and the Christian Hosoi skating the bowl. i lost my breath, and was so excited to be around such a strong group of influencial skaters. it started popping off right away, Sal with back to back fronside smiths with ease and perfection and a backside noseblunt that some would kill for, Javs doing lein to tails and backside crooked grinds...killin it, then scott gets creative and goes roll in backside boardslide to front smith, got the crowd hyped, scott also had one of the best frontside and backside slashers, steve wasnt skating too much, his knee was bothering him, hosoi was doing fastplats off the wall in the deep end of the bowl, he kept scott on his toes with one uppers on slashers, then the trick of the night by far was the lay-back grind of all laybacks, hosoi through the corner all the way back...perfect. the look on sal's, steve's, and scotts's face made it worth it, sall shook his head saying, "you never see one better than that"

this made my night, my week and mabye my month....a session i never dreamed of seeing, but this sessions made me realize one thing, skaters are always going to be skaters, always talking shit and trying to out do eachother with huge smiles on.
